We can’t wait for this years’ RBWH Foundation Giving Day

The countdown is on for Royal Giving Day, Wednesday June 23, the RBWH Foundation’s 24-hour fundraising appeal.

The goal this year is to raise $500,000 specifically for RBWH medical and clinician-led research, staff training and education opportunities, and patient care initiatives.

Royal Giving Day is shaping up to be even bigger and better than 2019 so if you have any family or friends with one or two hours to spare on Tuesday June 22 or Wednesday June 23, we would love their help!

Keep an eye out for the Royal Giving Day gratitude tree, on display in the ground floor foyer and decorated with messages of gratitude from donors. Every day, new leaf-shaped messages are being added with heart-warming feedback from patients and visitors. Messages are also being displayed on the digital gratitude tree at www.royalgivingday.com.au

Not only are people being encouraged to donate but RBWH Foundation is also encouraging the public, RBWH staff and corporate supporters to create their own fundraising pages.

Thanks to Royal Giving Day’s matched donors, donations will be doubled on the day up to the value of the matched pool of matching donations. This is an opportunity not to be missed!

There are some great incentives on offer for the highest fundraising teams and individuals, including department and education grants,  RBWH Foundation t-shirts and smart fitness watches. The full list can be found at https://www.royalgivingday.com.au/staff-incentives

Cancer Care Services, MND, Neck and Head Cancer, Skull Base Cancer, NICU and the Psychology Department have already launched campaigns so get on board and join the competition at https://www.royalgivingday.com.au/event/your-hospital You’ll find a lot of information to get you started including bunting, posters and decorations.

Let’s make 2021 a memorable year by helping RBWH Foundation ‘Raise it for the Royal’!
