Herbert & Bramston provides a range of barista-prepared espresso options to suit any caffeine craving you might have, backed up with a menu of freshly made grab-and-go options to perk you up wherever you’re headed on the Herston campus.
Boost Juice
Location: STARS Level 3
Open: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
Boost Juice offers a wide range of freshly made juices and smoothies to satiate any appetite, all made on-site with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Whether you’re after a blended breakfast to prepare you for the day ahead or a freshly squeezed mango and banana juice to perk you up if you’ve already had a long one, Boost Juice can offer you the perfect refreshing healthy pick-me-up you need.
The Botanist Kitchen
Location: STARS Level 3
Open: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
The Botanist Kitchen offers modern cafe-style cuisine in a warm and inviting setting. The Botanist provides freshly prepared contemporary meals, ranging from wholesome and hearty breakfast options to start the day off right, or a burger to cap off a midday visit. If you’re after your caffeine fix, The Botanist also provides a range of barista-prepared drink options to keep you refreshed and alert.
EzyMart
Location: STARS Level 3
Open: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 9:00 pm, Weekends 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
EzyMart offers a diverse range of delicious food options to satisfy every craving, any time of the day or night. Their shelves are stocked with a wide variety of regular favourites, including snacks, beverages, and pantry essentials. EzyMart stands out with their commitment to quality, convenience, and an ever-evolving product range.
Sushi Yado
Location: STARS Level 3
Open: Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Sushi Yado offers an authentic Japanese menu, including a wide range of freshly prepared sushi and rice or noodle bowls. We use only the freshest and finest ingredients to ensure that each dish is of the highest quality. Not only do we serve a great product, but we pride ourselves on speedy and friendly service. Vegetarian and gluten-free options available.
T Dot
Location: STARS Level 3
Open: Monday – Friday 6:30 am – 4:00 pm
T Dot is a specialty Asian drink retailer offering a diverse selection of beverages. The menu includes refreshing bubble tea, hot and cold lattes, and expertly brewed espresso. With a focus on quality ingredients and unique flavours, T Dot provides a vibrant, contemporary space for drink enthusiasts to enjoy a wide range of customisable options, blending traditional Asian tea culture with modern café favourites.
Hello My dear
Location: Up the Stairs from STARS Level 3 (Heritage Precinct)
Open: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Saturday 7:30 am – 1:00 pm
Hello My Dear offer a wide range of expertly crafted hot and cold beverage options, in the beautiful surrounds of the heritage listed Lady Lamington building. You can find a tempting selection of sweet and savoury items, all baked in-house including muffins, cookies and pastries. Need to grab lunch on the go? We have you covered with delicious and healthy ready-to-go options, including fresh rice paper rolls, satisfying rice dishes, and classic baguettes. Vegetarian and vegan options available.
Services
Internet and Wi-Fi
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout all patient areas within the hospital. To access the Wi-Fi service, you’ll need to have a Wi-Fi-enabled device such as a laptop, iPad or smartphone. From the device, ensure your Wi-Fi function is turned on and displaying a list of available Wi-Fi networks. Look for a network named ‘QH-FreeWiFi’ and connect to that network.
Enquiries desk
Located at the ground floor entrance of STARS, you will find our Enquiries desk which is staffed by our friendly administration staff. They are on hand to assist with directions, parking and transport options and general enquiries.
The Enquiries desk is staffed from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Loan Market
Located on Level 3 of STARS (next to the RBWH walkway), Loan Market has opened their first medico-focused mortgage brokerage shop at STARS. Talk to the team about accessing special bank deals that are only available to members of the medical community. They can assist with the following: home loans, Investment loans, vehicle leases, personal loans, business & commercial loan facilities.
Loan Market is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Lost property
If you leave any personal property behind when you leave hospital, items are kept for 3 months and if not collected, donated to charity. If you lose a personal item during your stay, you can email STARS_FacilityReception
@health.qld.gov.au.
Public phones
A public phone is located in the main foyer, near the entrance to Rehabilitation Outpatients.
Justice of the Peace
A JP service is available on Level 3 (near the walkway to RBWH) at Loan Market Herston.
Breastfeeding facilities
A Parenting room is located on the ground floor, near the public toilets.
Toilets
General and disabled toilets are located on every floor of the hospital for patient and visitor use. Baby changing rooms are located on the ground floor and Level 3 (near the food outlets).
Cashier Office
Patient Trust Deposits – Business Hours
Monday to Friday between 8:00 am to 3:45 pm. Deposits of patient trust cash and valuables are accepted at the Ground Floor, Cashier Office. The Cashier Office phone number is (07) 3647 6096.
Patient Trust After-Hours Deposits
Valuables and/or cash can be deposited at the Security office on the ground floor.
Patient Trust Withdrawals – Business Hours
Monday to Friday between 8.00 am to 3.45 pm – Patients can withdraw as cash, up to $100.00 of their funds which are held in patient trust, along with the collection of their patient trust valuables from the Cashier Office. Please note: Photographic ID will be required. Patients will receive a cheque for withdrawals over $500.00.

The collection of patient trust valuables from the Trust office is only available during Trust Office hours.
