Our courses will provide you with the skills for managing the deteriorating patient and cardiac arrest including airway  management, basic life support, safe defibrillation and life threatening arrhythmias.

2-day course focusing on developing advanced skills in managing the deteriorating patient and cardiac arrest

• Practical workshops and simulations providing skills including airway management, safe defibrillation, management of life-threatening arrhythmias and leading a cardiac arrest team
• The course is very intensive and candidates are sent the ALS 2 Manual one month prior to the course. Candidates are required to complete a pre-course multiple choice question paper to guide preparation
• Course is approved by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and provides certification recognised in Australia, New Zealand and Europe, valid for 4 years

Who is eligible for training?

Appropriate Participants: Doctors and nurses working in critical care areas (eg. ED, ICU, CCU) or in the resuscitation/medical emergency team and paramedics
