With the generous skills of our friends at Pine Rivers Men's Shed, Caboolture Hospital's youngest patients now have a fun way to take part in their hearing tests.

The Men’s Shed team handcrafted three marble race games that help children aged three to seven years show when they’ve heard a sound during testing. Instead of pressing a button, little ones drop a marble into the toy – turning a hearing test into a fun game.

These games are especially important for children at risk of hearing loss, like three-year-old Frances, who is having her hearing monitored as part of Queensland’s Healthy Hearing Program.

With a family history of hearing loss, regular checks mean any concerns can be picked up early to support speech and language development. 💙 Thank you Pine Rivers Men's Shed!

Beautiful!!!

My daughter got to use this at her hearing test and she had so much fun she keeps asking to go pack and play again. It made something medical super fun. Thankyou
