Nearly a decade ago, Dr Bianca took a leap of faith, moving to Sydney to chase her dream of studying medicine. Now, she’s one of 20 interns kicking off their medical careers at Caboolture Hospital this year! 🏥🩺

Medical interns spend 12 months gaining valuable hands-on experience, rotating through key areas of the hospital including general medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, emergency, surgery and paediatrics.

With a background in beauty therapy and nutrition, Dr Bianca brings a unique perspective to her work. She’s currently in general surgery and getting used to the fast-paced hospital environment.

“I love how busy it is, it keeps me on my toes and makes everything feel exciting!” she says.

Her passion for women’s health has her eyeing a future in obstetrics and gynaecology, and she’s eager to see where her journey takes her next!
