Common challenges in primary care: Asthma – the basics and beyond
Join your GP colleagues and public hospital specialists in discussing challenging aspects of asthma diagnosis and management as well as the newer therapies available. The evening will be an interactive GP session with case discussions to facilitate learning.
Learning outcomes:
- apply increased knowledge and awareness of current, evidence-based best practice in asthma management
- implement increased knowledge of practical skills which support the use of evidence-based procedures and practices (e.g. patient education, spirometry) and
knowledge of local services - apply increased confidence in managing patients with asthma and linked chronic respiratory conditions
- apply increased knowledge of the use of biologics in the management of severe asthma.
