“Mental Health after Trauma”
project grants
The JTI Rehabilitation and Outcome Measurement Theme is committed to improving mental health following trauma.
We are offering a maximum of two grants with budgets up to $25,000 and one grant with budget up to $40,000. We will fund projects with the goal to contribute to improving rehabilitation outcomes following trauma in a number of priority areas, including:
- Measuring the psycho-social impact of traumatic injury on trauma survivors and their families
- Analysis and optimisation of care pathways for non-major traumatic injury and its impact on mental health and functional outcomes
- Analysis of care pathways for specific causes of traumatic injury and/or patient cohorts to enhance clinical protocols, management and mental health/functional outcomes
- Exploring the opportunities, impact and benefits of telehealth across the care continuum for trauma survivors
- Analysis of traumatic injury, trauma survivorship, long term outcomes, and use of drugs of dependency
- Assessing the impact of service innovations on long term mental health and functional outcomes
