2019 Staff Excellence Awards
Outstanding staff achievements were in the spotlight at the annual Metro North Staff Excellence Awards. Winners were selected from almost 200 nominations from across the health service, with nine individuals and teams taking home a prize.
Board Chair Dr Robert Stable AM and Acting Chief Executive Jackie Hanson presented the Excellence in Leadership Award to Dr Robert Hodge from the RBWH Ear Nose and Throat service.
The Prince Charles Hospital Food Services team received the Chief Executive’s Award for their room service project. Kilcoy Hospital Nursing Director Nerys Brackman and RBWH Medical Imaging received the individual and team Values in Action awards.
The winners and highly commended finalists reflected Metro North’s values of respect, teamwork, compassion, integrity and high performance.
