Celebrating excellence
Excellence, compassion and integrity were the stars of the show at the annual Metro North Staff Excellence Awards last night.
Board Chair Dr Robert Stable AM said the awards recognise the commitment of staff to creating, connecting and applying knowledge to deliver high quality health services.
“Through these awards we celebrate not only high performance and leadership, but also innovative thinking, having a people focus, passing on knowledge and embodying our organisational values,” Dr Stable said.
The Metro North Staff Excellence Awards provide an opportunity for the Board and Executive to recognise staff who make a significant contribution to our organisation and demonstrate a strong commitment to our values. This year’s awards received more than 200 nominations from across the hospital and health service.
“It was fantastic this year to see an increase in nominations covering a vast variety of contributions worth celebrating, and to see staff so keen to point out the great work of their colleagues,” Dr Stable said.
Three hundred staff from across the health service attended the event at the Royal International Convention Centre.
