Metro North Health vaccinates community members big and little

With the opening of the Kippa Ring children’s vaccination clinic, our littlest community members can do their bit to help keep everyone safe.

Parents and guardians can book appointments for their children aged between five and eleven years old to receive the Pfizer vaccine.

Olivia, Evie, Harry and Louie were just some of the 300+ children who were vaccinated at Kippa Ring on its opening day.

“If I get this, COVID won’t be as bad – it’s basically keeping your whole life safe and it doesn’t hurt too much,” Olivia said after she received her vaccine.

“I want to be protected and I also don’t want to spread the virus, you should definitely go get it,” Harry said.

The Kippa Ring children’s clinic is open seven days a week, with first appointments at 8.20am and last appointments at 3.50pm. Caboolture Square Community Vaccination Clinic is also open to children two days a week. Bookings can be made online.

Adult members of the community aged 12 years and over can also receive a vaccination at one of Metro North Health’s many walk-in clinics:

  • Doomben Racecourse – open seven days a week
  • Brighton Health Campus – open seven days a week
  • Caboolture Square Community Clinic – open Monday, Wednesday to Saturday
