Recognising our Oral Health stars
We have been recently shining the light on some of the hidden gems in Oral Health and it wasn’t very difficult to find quite a few more.
Like all of our staff our Metro North Oral Health team have been extremely busy keeping people’s smiles bright.
Recently, the Oral Health Centre hosted a Values in Action Staff Awards and there were quite a few deserving winners.
High Performance / Teamwork
Katsuyo Zhu – Showing initiative, flexibility and motivation to get on with the job. She is an excellent role model.
Nicole Jordan – Always showing respect, compassion and motivation to ensure the Oral Health Centre and outsourcing of RMD’s is completed while working as a team under pressure.
Ivan Guillermo – Always showing respect, compassion and motivation to ensure the Oral Health Centre and outsourcing of RMD’s is completed while working as a team under pressure.

Dana Kenwood – Always shows a high level of integrity and compassion to all her colleagues. Dana shows a wealth of knowledge and understanding with training and mentoring TAFE students and dental students.

Dental Technician Team – Demonstrated outstanding teamwork through commitment to working together and supporting each other with limited time frames in the provision of prosthetic appliances for our patients.

Marija Bogoyvitch – Marija has shown a willingness to expand her knowledge in the area of Prosthodontics.
Integrity
Nabiha Peer and Leah Fowler – Leah and Nabiha often make quality decisions and tackle difficult situations with optimism and confidence. They each volunteer to undertake and lead tasks / projects on level 6 and I rely on their ability to do so.
They demonstrate a proactive work ethic and encourage others to do the same. They provide advice to their peers by listening and providing objective reasons for processes. They always liaise and communicate with me on the progression of the clinics and treatment sessions.
Compassion
Nitha Sathyan – Efficient, great observational skills and always there to lend a hand.
Dr Cladia Lopez Silva – Highly dedicated, competent and professional. Always happy to help and walking constantly the extra mile of care.
Dr Debbie Buick – Always looking for ways and findings avenues to help the less fortunate clients in the Head and Neck clinic by dedicating her time and care.
