QuARRIES celebrate initiative and excellence

Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital celebrated the 2018 QuARRIES Day of Excellence with an incredible number of nominations, winners and attendees.

This year was the 22nd Quality Awards Recognising Remarkable Initiative and Excellence in Service – known as the QuARRIES – that highlight opportunities explored and improvements undertaken by RBWH staff.

More than 250 people attended the presentations during the day and more than 100 attended the evening awards ceremony.

There were 43 categories across the QuARRIES categories, allowing for multiple winners to in some categories. An Overall Superior Quality Achiever award was presented to the category winner with the overall highest score.

The winners are assessed and chosen by an experienced multidisciplinary team of senior staff and one of our consumer representatives.
