Send your memories for Caboolture Hospital 25 year celebrations
Caboolture Hospital celebrates its 25th anniversary later this year and is calling on the community to lend a helping hand with their memories, photos and stories of the hospital.
Caboolture Hospital Executive Director Dr Lance Le Ray said the hospital was officially opened on Sunday October 17, 1993.
“We are so proud to celebrate our first 25 years improving health outcomes of our patients and the community,” Dr Le Ray said.
“This year is a wonderful opportunity to take a trip down memory lane and reflect on the proud history and many achievements of Caboolture Hospital over the past two decades.
“This will include acknowledging staff who have worked at the hospital and have wonderful recollections of their time with us.
“Later in the year, we’ll invite the community to celebrate our wonderful history with us and look forward to see what’s planned for the hospital’s next 25 years.”
Dr Le Ray is inviting the community to send through their memories of Caboolture Hospital which will be collated into a historical record.
“We’re asking the community to submit items such as photos, newspaper articles, cards and stories from people about their experiences and connection with our hospital,” Dr Le Ray said.
“This will add to the items we have already which are a wonderful insight into the hospital’s early beginnings and acknowledge staff, patients, visitors and the community who have all had an important role in the proud history of Caboolture Hospital.”
