Advanced Life Support – Level 2 – FULL
Due to the unfolding situation of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we have temporarily ceased bookings for all ALS courses.
For those that have registered, we will notify you directly as early as possible if we are unable to run the course.
Our courses will provide you with the skills for managing the deteriorating patient and cardiac arrest including airway management, basic life support, safe defibrillation and life threatening arrhythmias.
2-day course focusing on developing advanced skills in managing the deteriorating patient and cardiac arrest
- Practical workshops and simulations providing skills including airway management, safe defibrillation, management of life-threatening arrhythmias and leading a cardiac arrest team
- The course is very intensive and candidates are sent the ALS 2 Manual one month prior to the course. Candidates are required to complete a pre-course multiple choice question paper to guide preparation
- Course is approved by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and provides certification recognised in Australia, New Zealand and Europe, valid for 4 years
Who is eligible for training?
Appropriate Participants: Doctors and nurses working in critical care areas (eg. ED, ICU, CCU) or in the resuscitation/medical emergency team and paramedics
