Adult Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation ECMO Course 2026

This 4-day course will enable multidisciplinary teams with little ECMO experience to provide ECMO for patients with severe cardiac and respiratory failure.

Redcliffe Hospital is making it easier for patients to see a pelvic health physio with a new clinic on offer. ❤️🩹🩺
The Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Screening Clinic (PHPSC) was established to relieve pressure from specialist waitlists and Advanced Physiotherapist Katie, who works in the clinic, is seeing the everyday difference for urology and gynaecology patients.
“There's a growing awareness of the benefits of physiotherapy in pelvic health, as opposed to other interventions, and an understanding that surgeries aren’t always first-line care anymore,” Katie said.
“Now, with our gynaecology and urology screening clinics, these patients see a physiotherapist first, while they are on the waiting list for a specialist.
“For patients in our Physiotherapy Gynaecology Screening Clinic, around 50% improve so much they don't end up needing their appointment with the gynaecologist. For our urology patients, the success rate is even higher - closer to 60%.” 👊⭐
