    Car parking

    Redcliffe Hospital’s multi-storey car park is open and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

    There are more than 1,100 parking spaces across the hospital campus for patient, visitor, and staff use.

    A parking fee applies to park anywhere on the hospital campus.

    From Tuesday 6 October 2020, a parking fee will apply to park anywhere on the hospital campus.

    Pick-up and drop-off zones

    It will always be free to pick people up and drop them off at the hospital in the two pick-up and set-down areas available at the hospital.

    These are located outside the hospital’s Emergency Department, and outside the hospital’s main entrance.

    Patients and visitors can choose from several car parking locations on the Redcliffe Hospital campus.  The same parking fee applies to all areas.

    The multi-storey car park offers 670 spaces for cars and motorbikes, including 12 parking spaces for people with a disability.

    The height clearance when entering the car park is a standard 2.3 metres.

    The multi-storey car park also has 11 recharging bays for electric vehicles.

    There are electronic signs at the entrances to the multi-storey car park showing the location of available spaces.

    Vehicle access to the multi-storey car park is via Recreation Street only.

    A covered walkway links this car park with the hospital’s Main Building.

    This car park is a good choice for patients and visitors who will be at the hospital for several hours.

    The Main car park (P1) has permanently closed due to construction activity.

    Patients and visitors requiring parking should consider parking in the multi-storey Car Park (P0), which is accessed via Recreation Street.

    North Block car park (P4) has permanently closed due to construction activity.

    Patients attending North Block outpatients clinics, the Antenatal Clinic, or Clinical Measurements should consider parking in the Multi-Storey Car Park (P0).

    There are 34 car parks available in this car park, including two spaces for people with a disability.  This car park area is accessed from Sheehan Street, and is a good choice for visitors to the hospital’s Palliative Care Unit, and Rehabilitation Unit.

    Parking restrictions apply in the streets around the hospital, please check Moreton Bay Regional Council signage.

    How to pay for parking

    Cash or credit card is accepted at automatic pay machines located along walkways and outside building entrances.

    Payment can also be made by credit card at exit boom-gates.

    Concessional parking

    Concessional parking rates are available to eligible patients and primary carers.

    Courtesy shuttle bus service

    Redcliffe Hospital now provides a free shuttle service to help patients and visitors get to where they need to go on the hospital campus. The eight-seater shuttle operates during the hospital’s busiest times, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm each weekday (excluding public holidays).

    The shuttle operates on a loop, stopping every 20 minutes at four pick-up and drop-off points, including:

    • The multi-storey car park
    • The main entrance to the hospital, next to the Emergency Department
    • The Moreton Bay Integrated Care Centre (MBICC), and
    • At the northern end of the hospital, for access to the Palliative Care Unit, Rehabilitation and Stroke Unit, and a short distance from North Block clinics, the antenatal clinic and the clinical measurements facility.

    Patients and visitors can hop on and off the shuttle at any of these four locations.

    With works for the Redcliffe Hospital Expansion now underway, this new shuttle will help patients and visitors get where they need to go quicker and easier.

    Public transport

    Bus and train station

    Bus stops are located outside the hospital on Anzac Avenue and Recreation Street.

    The nearest railway station is Kippa Ring which is approximately 2.5 km from the Redcliffe Hospital and has bus connections to the hospital. For bus and train information, call Translink on 13 12 30 or visit https://translink.com.au/.

    Redcliffe Hospital’s car park is owned and managed by Metro North Hospital and Health Service.

    The car park management office is open 8 am to 4 pm weekdays and is located on the ground floor of the multi-storey car park.
