Research
STARS will feature multidisciplinary teams that include patients and their families working with the clinical and research teams on individual programs for care.
We will invest in our current and future workforce to develop skills needed in STARS.
At STARS, clinicians, researchers and academics work together, conducting translational research to improve patient outcomes through a long-term partnership with The University of Queensland (UQ).
Through our partnership with UQ, we will provide multi-disciplinary student clinical placements.
The STARS Education and Research Alliance Governing Board will oversee research projects, decide on the appointment of key educators and conjoint positions and promote innovative research and education.
