Wait list audit
If you have been placed on a hospital wait list, you may receive an SMS from ‘QLD Health’ with a link to a secure online form. This is a legitimate Queensland Health initiative and the platform used to deliver the form is owned and managed by Queensland Health. The form helps us confirm whether you still require your appointment and keep your information up to date.

Your appointment (Day Rehabilitation)
Located in Rehabilitation Outpatients
STARS Day Rehabilitation helps you to get back to your usual daily activities. Day Rehabilitation refers to people living in the community who attend rehabilitation via a day admission.
Patient Initiated Follow-Up (PIFU)
Patient Initiated Follow Up (PIFU) is available to patients who have been selected and enrolled by their treating clinician.
PIFU is an alternative to routine follow up Outpatient appointments. It gives you greater flexibility to access specialist care when you feel you need it. If your condition is stable and suitable for PIFU, regular follow up appointments will not be scheduled. Instead, you can book an appointment if:
- your symptoms get worse
- you have tried the treatment recommended by the Specialist and your symptoms have not improved
- you have concerns about your care.
Speak with your specialist team at your next appointment to find out if PIFU is an option for you.
