Dr Ridzwan Namazie
Orthopaedic Surgeon and Clinical Research Fellow
Dr Ridzwan Namazie is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with a subspecialty interest in hand and upper limb surgery. He is a part time Clinical Research Fellow in the STARS Education and Research Alliance, which is partnership between Metro North Health and Th University of Queensland. Dr Namazie was previously a fellow with the Queensland Unit for Advanced Shoulder Research (QUASR) based at the Queensland University of Technology and performed research with them. He has published papers in peer reviewed journals and presented at national and international meetings. His current research interests centre around improving surgical techniques and achieving the best outcomes for patients in an efficient way while maintaining safety. His public practice is at Redcliffe Hospital and STARS, and he works privately at Greenslopes Hospital.
