Associate Professor Victoria Eley
Senior Staff Specialist Anaesthetist, RBWH; Associate Professor, UQ
Associate Professor Victoria Eley is the Research Lead Anaesthetist at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and provides clinical services in adult and obstetric anaesthesia. She conducts research in collaboration with obstetricians, intensivists, obstetric physicians and neonatologists. She is current Chair of the ANZCA Obstetric Anaesthesia Special Interest Group and completed her PhD on the anaesthetic management of obese pregnant women in 2017. She is a member of the RBWH Research Council and provides expert review for the RBWH Human Research Ethics Committee. She mentors and supervises trainees and colleagues in quality assurance, research projects and higher research degrees.
