STARS is a specialist rehabilitation and surgical service focussed on providing individualised care and exceptional health outcomes.
Located at the Herston Health Precinct, STARS is part of a collaborative community home to more than 30 health facilities, medical research institutes, universities and organisations. The Precinct is made up of 13,000 clinical and non-clinical staff, scientists, researchers and students, working together to deliver excellence in health.

"I'm a gardener and a very outgoing person so I don't usually sit around a lot. My stomach basically exploded so I had to come here in the ambulance, but it has been gold stars all around for the doctors and the nurses here. I was a painter and decorator by trade so I'm usually outside when the sun comes up at 5:30, working away in the garden.
