Clinical trials and research
Clinical trials test new treatments to find better ways to prevent, detect or treat diseases. Both healthy people and people with diseases or conditions can volunteer to be part of a trial.

Research and education
Cancer Care Services has an active research program including:
- the Clinical Trials Program, participating in local, national and international studies,
- participation in collaborations with Queensland Institute of Medical Research (QIMR), University of Queensland, Brisbane Diamantina Partners and Herston Imaging Research Facility (HIRF).
- local investigator driven and research facility studies, collaborative study group participation, and participation in sponsored international studies.
