Not all heroes wear capes. Our wear scrubs, and sometimes even suits! 🤵👨‍⚕️

Today, on Crazy Socks 4 Docs Day, we are shining a spotlight on the challenges associated with working in the medical profession to help break down stigma and start conversations around mental health and wellbeing among doctors.

One of the many Metro North Health staff who donned their brightest, boldest crazy socks today was Deputy Director of Anaesthetics at STARS, Dr. Juan, who shared the importance of showing solidarity with medical staff.

"I’m wearing my crazy Batman socks today to start conversations around mental health," Dr. Juan said. 🧦

"Crazy Socks 4 Docs Day is a reminder that it’s important to check on our colleagues, to seek support and that we are not alone." 💗

"The socks are more than symbolism; they open the door for important conversations."
