Medical research
TPCH is an active centre for education and research. The library provides evidence-based information and research services. The University of Queensland’s Northside Medical School is located on this campus along with the Queensland University of Technology Mechanical and Biological Engineering Facility.
There are leading clinical and translational research programs, particularly in the fields of cardio thoracic medicine and surgery, critical care and orthopaedics. The site is a major training site for cardiothoracic sub specialties.
