Meet Kaitlyn, the superwoman who's shining bright at TPCH as a surgical nurse making waves in healthcare and on the stage as a Miss Universe Australia state finalist for Queensland! 🌟💖

"It's such an exciting program! Each finalist is currently raising funds for ToyBox Australia - a charity that supports sick and disadvantaged children. If I make it through to the state nationals, we’ll head to Vietnam to where we'll be doing more volunteer work," said Kaitlyn.

Kaitlyn's journey is a testament to her hard work, compassion, and ambition, proving that you can make a difference both in scrubs and on stage.

Let's all cheer her on as she continues to rock both her scrubs and her crown! 👑

“Just days after having my third child, I was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy—and my world changed. I was told I needed open-heart surgery, and they implanted an LVAD to keep my heart going while I wait for a heart transplant. It’s been a whirlwind, but I’m beyond grateful for my amazing family and friends who’ve been by my side through it all. More than anything, I can’t wait to get home to my kids.” ❤
