Turning 101 is no easy feat - but gardening, eating a good breakfast, and seeing the world sure help you get there! Eloise is a TPCH patient who moved to St Martin’s interim care when she was well enough to leave hospital, which has now become her forever home. Today she celebrated with her new friends and reflected on a life well spent. ✨ 🎂
Eloise is such a star! She keeps all the staff and other residents on their toes!!

Sunshine, sea-breeze and beautifully maintained gardens are just a few things you'll find at the Brighton Health Campus. 🌊🌴
One of the gardeners keeping the grounds in tip-top shape is Rob who says working out at Brighton has revived his passion in horticulture.
"I was at TPCH for 7 years, but this came up last July and I jumped at the chance, just to get your eyes on a new place and have a new challenge. I also get to pat multiple dogs every day between work," said Rob.
"I love anything to do with gardening; at the moment we are mulching which is laborious but it's the gratification of knowing what you’re going to achieve when it's done.
"The best type of gardens are ones where you don’t really notice a change, put me in the garden and I'm a happy camper!"

Almost 10,000 surgeries are performed every year at TPCH but none of these would be possible without a team of highly trained anaesthetists. 💉😴
Dr Andrei who is originally from Russia has spent the last year at TPCH as a Staff Specialist in Anaesthetics.
"I've practiced in Russia, South Africa, now Australia, it’s very interesting to travel through different countries and systems, seeing environments I thought I'd never see in my life. I think I became a better anaesthetist due to the [Australian] training," said Dr Andrei.
"I prefer to work in orthopaedics and trauma, and this is a smaller hospital which is not as busy as the RBWH for example so it's a smaller department and I recognise and get to know people, there's lots of support.
"Although I am on general side of anaesthetics, I am attracted to the cardiac specialty and working in the cardiac centre is very interesting, the cardiac team has a lot of experience." 🫀

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to formally request information regarding the options available to restrict, seal, or, where legally permissible, delete my Queensland Health records. My confidence in Queensland Health's ability to manage my personal information appropriately has been severely damaged by my experiences with the organisation and what I perceive to be unethical conduct. As a result, I no longer feel safe having my personal health information accessible within Queensland Health systems beyond what is legally required. I therefore request written advice regarding: Whether my records can be sealed, restricted, or otherwise protected from routine access. Whether additional privacy protections can be applied to my records. Whether audit monitoring can be applied to record access. Whether I can obtain access logs showing who has accessed my records. Whether any part of my records can be deleted, archived, or removed in accordance with applicable legislation and record-retention requirements. The formal process for requesting any of the above measures. My intention is to minimise the risk of future misuse, inappropriate access, disclosure, or use of my personal information in ways that may adversely affect my safety, wellbeing, or access to care. Given the seriousness of my concerns, I would also appreciate advice regarding any mechanisms available to protect individuals who have lost confidence in the organisation's handling of their personal information and who believe further access or use of that information may place them at risk of harm or intimidation. What do you do to ensure you do not remove medical care from people with a disability and threaten them with violence if they ask questions. I mean you do follow @Queensland Health policies on bashing disabled people right? Metro North Health @Metro South Health. Ohh they are no longer accepting public scrutiny I see. Wow QUeensland Health really are a pack of unethical cowards.
