Caboolture Hospital has undergone a major expansion, with the opening of a new multi-storey car park in October 2023 and the new clinical services building in November 2023.

In 2024 a significant refurbishment program will be delivered to enhance and modernise target spaces within the existing hospital. The refurbishment program commenced in early 2024 and is expected to finish in early 2025.

The refurbishment program will deliver:

• Medical Day Unit and Self Care Dialysis
• Pharmacy
• Pathology
• Transit Lounge
• Central Sterilising Department
• Social Worker Administration area
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Services Unit
• Community Connect
• Medical Records
• Day Chemotherapy Unit
• Neonatal Unit
• Biomedical Technology Services area

The Caboolture Hospital Redevelopment provides the community with access to a modern health facility and new specialist healthcare services, meaning patients can be treated closer to home, rather than always having to travel to larger facilities for treatment.

Metro North Health is delivering the Caboolture Hospital Redevelopment and has appointed Lendlease Building as the Managing Contractor. This exciting project will make sure Caboolture Hospital continues to meet the health needs of the local community as the population grows over the coming years.
