Cardiac (Heart) Rehabilitation – Patient Resource Hub

What is cardiac rehabilitation?

Cardiac rehabilitation is an exercise and education program that teaches people with heart conditions the skills they need to build healthy heart habits and to help with recovery.

Exercise can help you stay out of hospital and improve your quality of life by increasing your fitness, giving you more energy, improving your sleep, and helping you to feel happier and more relaxed.

Education will help you and your family gain a better understanding of changes that occur with heart disease and give you the tools to manage changes and to improve your health and wellbeing.
