Indigenous Patient Journey
If you, or a family or community member, are coming to Brisbane for treatment, the Improving the Patient Journey (IPJ) team provides culturally appropriate advocacy and support to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community before, during and after your visit to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital or The Prince Charles Hospital.
We can assist you with:
- keeping your appointments
- providing one-on-one and family cultural support
- transport from the bus, airport or train to the hospital
- helping you to get excellent healthcare in either of the hospitals.
