The Compassionate Friends Qld

The Compassionate Friends Queensland

The Compassionate Friends Qld offers support groups for bereaved parents, grandparents, and siblings who have lost a child, grandchild or sibling of any age. Being with others who are also going through a similar experience can be a source of comfort. They also offer a support line on 1300 064 068 for telephone support (10am-4pm and 7pm-10pm everyday).

Griefline

Griefline

Griefline offers a free 6-week closed support group program for those who have lost a loved one (partner, close friend or family member) via Zoom. The program is designed for those who have been bereaved for 3 months – 2 years. The aim of the program is to create a safe space to connect with people, share personal experiences and learn ways to cope and cultivate self-compassion to move through their grief and find hope after loss.

Griefline also offer a range of online discussion forums where you can join an online community and support yourself and others.

FriendLine

FriendLine logoFriendLine is for anyone who needs to reconnect or just wants a chat. You can register your phone number to receive a call a few times a week for a friendly conversation. The support line is operated by volunteers who are screened and trained. All conversations are anonymous and confidential. Visit FriendLine to register your phone number.
