Food, shops and services
The hospital has a range of shops and services for people to access. Cafes, food and drink outlets on campus are available for visitors and staff to purchase meals and refreshments. More than 8 000 people come to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital each day. Patients who stay in hospital are served their meals at regular times each day.
Cafes, food and drinks
If you leave any personal property behind when you leave hospital, items are kept for three months and then donated to charity. If you lose a personal item during your stay, please let us know:

Justice of the Peace
A Justice of the Peace is available for patients, visitors and staff.
Open: Monday-Friday 9.30am-4.30pm
Location: Ground floor Ned Hanlon Building (near Admission and the Chapel)
Out of hours bookings can be made at the information desk at the main hospital entrance or by calling (07) 3646 7151.
Public payphones are located throughout the hospital for patient and visitor use. Please ask staff for the phone located closest to you.
Parking and transport
General and disabled toilets and baby changing rooms are located on every floor of the hospital for patient and visitor use. Please ask staff for the toilet closest to you.
