The hospital has a range of shops and services for people to access.  Cafes, food and drink outlets on campus are available for visitors and staff to purchase meals and refreshments. More than 8 000 people come to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital each day.  Patients who stay in hospital are served their meals at regular times each day.

    Cafe Royale

    Come and try our delicious new healthy food options – Fresh for you every day!

    Café Royale has a wide range of taste sensations from cuisines around the world, from the Mediterranean, sushi or Japanese Cuisine.

    Or why not start the day with our good start breakfast bar, freshly made daily sandwiches, wraps and rolls. Over lunch you can create your own salad bowls or if your looking for something more substantial we have an ever-changing hot dish section or a good old fashion carvery.

    Café Lattes

    Need a morning or even 3pm pick up- grab your Piazza Doro coffee and quick bites from Café Lattes.

    Pulse

    Come up the hill a little to enjoy some peace away from the hustle and bustle of the hospital.

    Offering a full à la carte menu for both breakfast and lunch; Pulse has the perfect blend of meal-time staples and other more contemporary options. Or if that still isn’t enough variety then there’s a whole cabinet filled with both sweet and savoury goodies! Also why not try our coffee cart outside for fabulous fast Elixir blend coffee.

    Coffee Cube

    They say good things come in small packages and that certainly applies to Coffee Cube. This little space pumps out fantastic tasting coffee and, located on Level 6 near Maternity, has been responsible caffeinating many bleary-eyed customers after a sleepless night!

    Grab and go food options are available too, so if the prospect of waiting for a lift is too much for you to handle then make the Coffee Cube your one stop shop!

    Subway

    Hungry for a sandwich made exactly as you like?

    Have your sandwich made in front of you by our trained Sandwich Artists with any combination of fillings served in either one of our iconic subs, paninis, wraps or straight up salads I am sure all will delight. Then why not add a drink and some freshly baked cookies to compliment your meal.

    Subway also have some delicious catering options for the hospital, including a selection of sandwich and wrap platters and who can forget the mouth-watering cookie platters.

    Whilst small in stature, this little space has huge personality. At 2Cs we have two barometers of success in all that we do; namely the deliverance of great coffee with genuine care.

    With numerous grab and go food options available too; should you ever find yourself in the Joyce Twedell building then be sure to stop by the Cart with heart.

    Lost property

    If you leave any personal property behind when you leave hospital, items are kept for three months and then donated to charity. If you lose a personal item during your stay, please let us know:

    Justice of the Peace

    A Justice of the Peace is available for patients, visitors and staff. Justice of the Peace services are available on Ground Floor (near hospital chapel), Ned Hanlon Building, Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital at the following times:

    Monday – 9:30am-1:30pm
    Tuesday – 9:30am-4pm
    Wednesday – 9:30am-1:30pm
    Thursday – closed
    Friday – 9:30am-4pm
    Saturday and Sunday – Closed

    Public phones are located throughout the hospital for patient and visitor use. Please ask staff for the phone located closest to you.

    General and disabled toilets and baby changing rooms are located on every floor of the hospital for patient and visitor use. Please ask staff for the toilet closest to you.
