PallConsult is a backup service and should be used when clinicians are unable to access their regular palliative care specialists or if clinicians do not have easy access to specialist palliative care services.

Phone on-call Registrar for advice or direct admission bypassing the Emergency Department. For patients who do not have a medical emergency, have a clear diagnosis, are stable and do not have infection control issues.
