Rural and remote opportunities
Metro North Health is committed to supporting nursing and midwifery professionals across Queensland. As part of that commitment, Metro North has for the past 2-years offered a 2-year graduate program with several Rural and Remote Hospital and Health Services.
The extended program has enabled participants to work for 12-months in a rural or remote facility and then return to Metro North for a further 12-months.
In 2024, Metro North will be coordinating the Rural and Remote opportunities for the Central Cluster and will support the Hospital and Health Services listed below. There may also be opportunities in other areas within the Southern and Northern Clusters. Opportunities for graduates interested in rural and remote areas outside the Central Cluster will be negotiated separately.
