2026 Metro North Health Research Summit
This annual event brings together expert minds involved in health and medical research to consider emerging topics of importance to our community. The summit provides an excellent opportunity to hear from, network and engage with some of the leading experts in health and medical research.
The 2026 Metro North Health Research Summit welcomed over 180 guests from across Queensland Health and our academic, commercial, philanthropic and community partners. We welcomed local and national experts to discuss topics ranging from the role of technology and social media in the mental health and development of youth and adolescents, the importance of research in shaping the equitable provision of health care for our heart and lung patients, the evolving landscape of artificial intelligence, and the latest advances in health and medical research by our Metro North clinicians. We look forward to hosting the Metro North Research Summit again in 2027.
