For graduate perioperative nurse Frankie, the opportunity to be immersed in a team of experienced health professionals at The Prince Charles Hospital (TPCH) has been the icing on the cake of her studies 🍰

After graduating from Australian Catholic University Clinical School in 2024, Frankie is now working at TPCH as a Registered Nurse (RN). She recently started a rotation in cardiac theatres where she is part of the team who sets up for complex cases including heart transplants, coronary artery bypass grafts and valve replacements.

“Knowing that I have been part of procedures that will help someone for the rest of their life is really rewarding,” she said.

“I have had amazing experiences at TPCH. Everyone is so friendly and always willing to teach you.”

Want to follow in Frankie’s footsteps? TPCH is inviting high school students to learn more about a career in nursing at the TPCH Nursing Career Expo on Friday 16 May from 12pm to 6pm at the TPCH Education Centre Car Park.
