We employ a range of allied health professionals as health practitioners working in clinical, educational, research and managerial positions. Our allied health professionals play an important role in maintaining and improving community health and wellbeing and are from the following health professions:

Allied health professionals must have university qualifications to practice. There are also professional registration requirements and certifications you’ll need for many of our roles.
Allied Health Assistants
We also employ allied health assistants as clinical assistants. Our allied health assistants work under the supervision and delegation of allied health professionals, with a range of allied health professionals and other health practitioners to support allied health care. Holding a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance is highly desirable for allied health assistants working for Queensland Health.
