Administration

Operational
The operational employees of Metro North provide valuable services to the patients.
These roles can include:
- Patient Support Officer – They help patients get to where they need to go either by bed, trolley or wheelchair. They also perform regular cleaning and manual duties using the correct equipment efficiently and safely to ensure high quality patient care.
- Patient Food Services officer – assist with the preparation, plating and distribution of meals to patients on the wards. The service plays an important role in healthcare delivery by providing meals according to the individual needs and dietary requirements of patients and maintaining food safety and hygiene.
- Retail Officer – Work in one of the many food outlets and café’s located at Metro North facilities and offer a range of food and beverage choices
- Protective Services includes Security Services and the Occupational Violence Prevention Unit. Security services prevent crime and disruption while protecting persons and property at all Metro North facilities.
