1 August 2021 – Update 2
Dear colleagues,
Further to my earlier message, the Chief Health Officer has now provided clarification on quarantine requirements for families with children attending schools involved in the current COVID-19 cluster in Brisbane.
Any staff member with a child who:
- Attends Indooroopilly State High School, Ironside State School or Brisbane Boys Grammar school
- Attended the Brisbane Girls Grammar School Open Day on Friday evening July 30
- Attended a debate at St Peters Lutheran College on Friday evening July 30
MUST NOT return to work unless they have received two negative COVID tests 24 hours apart
AND if they can isolate completely from other household members (preferably at a different address).
In all other cases, if you are clinically well and have not been identified by Public Health as a quarantine close contact, you can work as normal tomorrow.
Please communicate with your line manager ASAP if you will be unable to attend for rostered clinical duties over the next 48 hours.
