Message from the Metro North Health Incident Controller – COVID-19 update 403 | 05/05/2022

Dear colleagues,

  • Current situation
  • Recording your booster

Current situation

Metro North remains in Tier 3 of our COVID response plan. We are reviewing regularly based on the number of COVID positive patients in our care and how many staff are out of the workplace.

Today we have 464 staff out of the workplace as close contacts or with COVID.

In today’s IMT the issue of clinical trial monitors was raised again. Under tier 3 there are no specific restrictions to clinical trials.

The COVID staff debrief survey is still open for feedback and local Teams sessions are happening throughout the week. If you haven’t yet provided feedback, please share your thoughts about what aspects of our COVID response we should incorporate into our future planning or into business as usual, and where we need to improve.

Recording your booster

Thank you to the almost 6000 staff who have updated you vaccination record to include your COVID booster.

Recording your booster is quick and easy:

  • Download your COVID digital certificate from your myGov account
  • Go to the COVID-19 Vaccination Hub
  • Choose the +Booster Vaccination option
  • Add your booster details
  • Upload or drag and drop your certificate
  • Save.

Regards,

Louise O’Riordan
