Metro North Health Incident Controller

Dear colleagues,

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. There has been a steady flow of work through the MN Emergency Operation Centre this weekend supporting 2316 people self-quarantined in government designated hotels. Sincere thanks to my offsiders and teams supporting them for their hard work!

Over the last 24 hours, Queensland has recorded 0 new positive COVID-19 cases. This is a great result – excellent work Queenslanders!

Today, I could break the record for the shortest Incident Controller message!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and I will provide another update tomorrow.

Kind regards,
Mark Butterworth
Metro North Incident Commander
