Today, there were 4,919 new COVID-19 cases reported in Queensland.

PPE matrix and COVID plan

Metro North Health remains at Tier 3 of our COVID response plan. All staff are reminded that we are still in the high-risk category in the PPE matrix, which outlines the appropriate PPE for your type of work.

School and community vaccination pop-up clinics

COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters are available at a range of school and community pop-up sites, including:

*** As part of an Intergovernmental Agreement, from 1 January 2022 Metro North Health is providing a number of health support services to Norfolk Island. This includes advice and support to staff on island in terms of managing COVID patients.  The numbers in this section of the table refer to COVID patients who remain on Norfolk Island and are receiving direct care by staff on Norfolk Island.
