Dear colleagues,
Cleaning and infection control
Today we contributed to the planning for remediation of Hotel Grand Chancellor. It is great to see multi-agency and cross health collaboration on this important task.
COVID-19 inpatients
As you will see from today’s numbers, we are continuing to take care of COVID-19 positive patients across our Metro North facilities. Our staff are well-equipped and prepared to manage these patients and I would like to thank them for their attention to detail and the compassionate care they are providing each and every day. Long after our patients forget our names, they will remember how we made them feel.
COVID response team EOI
Metro North is looking for flexible and adaptable people to join our COVID-19 response team. Positions are available for nursing (all levels), allied health and administration staff to provide safe and responsive frontline services and support for quarantine and testing.
Roles include face to face and phone support for people in quarantine, pop up and on-site testing, data entry, and airport intake. Multiple shifts are available across 24 hours, 7 days a week.
This is a unique opportunity to develop new skills and demonstrate Metro North’s values of respect, compassion, integrity, teamwork and high performance as part of our frontline response to the pandemic.
If you would like to be part of the Metro North frontline response team, please submit your CV to COH-NDWorkforce@health.qld.gov.au by Wednesday 20th January 2021. For further information, please contact Nursing Director COH Workforce on 0439 599 469.
Regards,
Dr Liz Rushbrook
