Queensland’s Chief Health Officer announced this morning that there had been 4,265 new COVID-19 cases reported across Queensland since yesterday.

The Chief Health Officer has also highlighted the continuing importance of vaccinations and boosters in managing this and future waves. If you are due for your COVID-19 vaccination booster, please take action. Boosters are available at all Metro North vaccination clinics.
COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters are also at these pop-up community and school locations:
- Caboolture Showgrounds, 140 Beerburrum Rd, Caboolture – today until 3pm
- Tangalooma Island Resort, Moreton Island – Monday 21 Feb, 3pm-8pm, and Tuesday 22 Feb, 7am-11am.
- Taigum State School, 266 Handford Road, Taigum – Monday 21 Feb, 2.30pm-6pm and Tuesday 22 Feb, 2.30pm-6pm.

Fit testing
Metro North Health remains committed to prioritising fit testing for all our frontline staff. Please check the fit testing schedule for details on how to get fit tested at your hospital or facility. If you have any concerns about fit testing, you can let us know through the fit testing feedback portal. Urgent issues should also be escalated to your line manager and facility EOC for resolution.
