The co-design team

Co-design brings together many experts.

Co-design brings together many experts from a range of backgrounds who have experienced, observed, heard about or studied the issue at hand.

When building your co-design team, you can ask yourself:

Who needs to be on the team?

How will I involve people with lived experience? Is there time and money to do co-design?

What is the role of each person? How do they bring value?

How will you care for each other? How will you create a safe space?

5

How will you level the playing field and ensure that everyone is involved in decision making?

How will you check in with each other and keep the team accountable to the process and each other?

Once you have thought about these questions, and have your team together – then you can start the Co-design process.
