Dear colleagues,
Today the Premier announced four new cases of COVID in the community. There are new contact tracing locations in the Metro North area.
Mandatory masks
Masks are again required at all times indoors and outdoors throughout the Brisbane and Moreton Bay local government areas. This is effective immediately for the next two weeks.
Restrictions and PPE
Restrictions are now in place for hospitals, residential aged care and disability accommodation services.
We have moved back to moderate PPE risk level today for all services and remain on Tier 1 of our COVID response plan.
See the details for moderate risk in the PPE matrix in Personal protective equipment in healthcare delivery, community health and in-home care settings, correctional services and Personal protective equipment in residential aged care and disability accommodation services for specific information relating to your work. This also applies to staff who live or work in the affected LGAs who also work in facilities in other areas, such as Kilcoy Hospital.
Please continue to practice good social distancing and hand hygiene, and get tested in you have any symptoms, and use the QR codes to check in as you move around.
