Message from the RBWH Executive Director and Director Administration Services

Today, 5 May, we celebrate National Administrative Professionals Day and thank all our wonderful AO staff members for their contribution to RBWH. Every day, our administration team displays expertise, flexibility and commitment in their roles, and we are so grateful to all of you.

The hospital employs more than 1,100 administration professionals who play a vital role in patient care and ensure our clinical teams can focus on their clinical duties. Our administration staff are often the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, providing a warm, helpful and professional welcome to the hospital. From the Switchboard Services team who manages and directs over one million calls every year, to our Medical Records team who have scanned 10,641,298 pages of clinical information into ieMR over the past 12 months, our hospital could not run without our highly skilled administration professionals.

We would also like to give a special mention to our RBWH Administration teams who are located offsite from the main RBWH campus. While there are too many teams to mention individually, we want you to know that you are very much part of Team Royal and we appreciate you.
