When RBWH Administration Officer Lauren Sewell isn’t busy keeping the Nuclear Medicine Service running smoothly, she is on the court training to represent Australia in the World Indoor Netball Association (WINA) Tri-Series Championships.
The championships are being held in Brisbane from 10-20 August, and Lauren’s colleagues are excited to attend to cheer her along.
Lauren said she has been playing netball since she was five years old and at Queensland level since she was 14, however this is her first time making the Australian team.
“It’s great that the Championships are being held in Brisbane this year so all my family and friends can come along,” she said.
“My team in Nuclear Medicine have been so amazing and supportive. Everyone is really excited to ask me about how training is going and they even said they are going to decorate the office.
“It’s a great culture.”
