National Safe Work Month (October) is here an opportunity to celebrate all things Health and Safety with this year’s activities supported by Metro North and Queensland Health. Safe Work Month provides a time to come together to commit to building a safe and healthy workplace, thank our Health and Safety Representatives and Work Area Safety Champions for their amazing contribution to providing a safer workplace to care for our staff and our patients.
Being healthy and safe at work means being free from physical and psychological harm. A safe and healthy workplace benefits everyone. This year we have a packed fun filled calendar of events and webinars (see attached) covering local facility events, competitions with prizes, safety walks and talks, SafeTea Morning Teas, BBQs and variety of key safety topic webinars for everyone to get involved.
This year’s theme is For everyone’s safety, work safely. #SafeWorkMonth
