The RBWH Foundation is excited to announce the opening of its new office, centrally located on the ground floor of RBWH.
The RBWH Foundation CEO Simone Garske said the relocation would allow the greatest Foundation presence on the Herston Health Precinct, since COVID-19 workplace distancing recommendations.
“The RBWH Foundation staff are extremely excited to be working from RBWH, the heart of Herston, in such close proximity to our valued community of healthcare professionals, researchers and patients,” said Ms Garske.
Ms Garske also acknowledged and applauded Metro North Health for providing the space.
“We invite patients and staff to drop by to say hello and also look forward to creating new opportunities for our donors to experience firsthand the impact of their support of clinician-led research and patient care.”
The new office is also home to the Foundation’s volunteer Compassion Crew, which is currently recruiting new members. The Compassion Crew works closely with patients and their families in clinical and non-clinical areas within RBWH, as well as the Surgical Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS).
The RBWH Foundation was established in 1985 to advance patient care and life-saving research. It is the proud philanthropic partner of RBWH, STARS, Redcliffe Hospital and other Herston Health Precinct institutes and Centres.
