I’m pleased to share the news that Redcliffe Hospital has been recommended for ongoing ACHS accreditation. This is a fantastic outcome for the hospital and a very proud moment for everyone who works here.
Over the past four days, a team of experienced ACHS assessors have spent time in every part of the hospital, assessing us against the national standards. As part of that assessment, they’ve looked at our governance processes and talked at length with our patients, staff, volunteers, and consumers.
Our assessment concluded this afternoon with a feedback session by the assessors – and their feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Around 200 staff joined us for that feedback session, including Chief Executive Jackie Hanson and Chief Operating Officer Jane Hancock. The Metro North Board Chair and Deputy Chair, Jim McGowan and Dr Kim Forrester joined us too and asked we pass on their compliments and congratulations to all hospital staff. Thank you to everyone who interacted with the ACHS team this week, helping them to get to know our hospital, and the way we provide our patients with safe and quality care.
Have Your Say Staff Survey sessions
