Wow, what a month October was for Caboolture Hospital!
We certainly turned 30 in style.
Thank you to everyone who shared your stories as part of our ‘30 Stories for 30 Years’ series.
It has been so lovely to get to know you all a little better, to walk down memory lane with you, and to see what is really important to you now.
We’ve had so much positive feedback about the stories that we’re going to keep them going – not everyday, unfortunately – but we’re looking at how we can continue to get to share your stories and get to know each other better, so watch this space!
It was also so heart-warming to see so many of you enjoying the 30th Birthday events throughout the month.
Whether it was ice-cream in the pouring rain, hot dogs in the raging heat, or sampling some of the 19 wonderful cakes submitted for our birthday cake-off, you all came along and had fun.
I especially want to thank all of our wonderful colleagues who volunteered their time to help at these events. We can’t do it without you, and your time and enthusiasm is very much appreciated.
As we move towards the end of 2023 and beyond, we have so much to look forward to and I thank you all for your dedication to making this a great place to work and a safe place for our community.
I can’t wait to see what you all achieve in the next 30 years!
